Accommodation is very limited in Ūawa Tolaga Bay and we encourage attendees to stay at Hauiti marae, 29 Hauiti Road, Tolaga Bay.
The marae can sleep up to 80 people and the cost to stay at the marae is in addition to our registration fee. Hauiti Marae will be available from Wednesday 12 March. Please note if you are attending the free workshop on Tuesday 11 March, the marae is not available for accommodation on Tuesday night and you will need to book elsewhere for that night.
If you wish to stay at the marae, please book this when you register for the conference. There is a specific question for this when you fill in the registration form. We need to know the number of people who will be staying at the marae for catering purposes.
Those staying at the marae should bring a sleeping bag or your own linen and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. A basic breakfast of porridge, toast, fruit and cereal will be provided.
There will be a pōwhiri at 8.30am on Wednesday 12 March for all conference attendees as per the programme. If you are unsure of what to do, please follow others. The words of our Tāhuna Ora waiata are in the conference handbook on page 5. You are most welcome to sing with us.
